We are excited to announce our first guest post by physiotherapist Tracy McAdam.
Tracy has just finished a busy couple of months working at the 2012 London Olympics and we cant wait to find out some of her highlights from the games.
Tracy boasts a number of qualifications including a Diploma in orthopaedic medicine, BSc Hons Physiotherapy and a MSc Sports Physiotherapy. She now returns to her job as a Senior Physiotherapist in Sport for Edinburgh University.
To say her experience in sports physiotherapy is impressive doesn't do her justice. She is the current head physiotherapist for the Hearts football academy and Currie Rugby Club. She has also worked with the Scottish Rugby Union, where she helped support the All Blacks during the Autumn Internationals in 2010, and Scottish Hockey.
Tracy has worked with elite athletes, amateur and professional teams and young talented academy players. Who better to offer advice to our readers over the coming weeks? No pressure Tracy....
