Ewan Bulger is the 2013 Coach Logic Rugby Scholarship to New Zealand winner in partnership with the Inside Running Academy.

After being selected onto our top 5 short listed applicants Ewan produced the following YouTube video to make one more lasting impression with the guys at the Inside Running Academy.

This video along with Ewan's previously submitted CV, cover letter and coaching references were sent to the guys at Inside Running so they could make an informed final decision.

Making the final decision was Dan Ward-Smith (below, left) and Dr Nic Gill (below, right), who both have fantastic rugby credentials.

Dan Ward-Smith is a former London Wasp and England player who is currently managing the Inside Running Academy. Dr Nic Gill is the current All Blacks Head of Strength and Conditioning and also heads up the conditioning at the Inside Running Academy.

Dan had this to say about Ewan.

'We are really looking forward to Ewan's arrival here at the Inside Running Academy. I get a real thrill out of assisting young athletes to reach their potential and we are sure that Ewan will do extremely well here at our academy but also on his return to Scotland. We are confident that we can help him take his game to the next level'

Nic was also very complimentary of Ewan's personal attributes.

'I am really excited about working with Ewan when he arrives here at the Inside Running Academy. Based on his video he seems like a really motivated and determined athlete who will be a real pleasure to work with'
